Qinhuangdao Oceanfront 5-Star Hotel

The proposed 550-key Qinhuangdao Hotel is a 5-Star business hotel strategically located along the Qinhuangdao waterfront.  The façade facing the ocean bows out elegantly to increase key count and to maximize views to the ocean.  The registration area is located under a 10-story glass atrium which penetrates through the building allowing the guests to see the dramatic waterfront from the main lobby.

The proposed project program also includes a state-of-the-art 45,000 SF multi-purpose ballroom to host business conferences, wedding parties, and exhibits.  Exclusive 2-story club room level located on top of the building will offer luxury amenities to the business elites.  Gourmet restaurants can be found both on the podium levels and on top of the hotel and will provide opportunities for fine dining and encourage local residents to visit the hotel.

This design proposal was completed in 2013 as one of a collection of purely conceptual proposals for a Chinese developer interested in exploring potential real estate development opportunities in Qinhuangdao, China.
